Return and Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your Mountain Labs Odak IAQ Monitor. If you are not satisfied for any reason, we offer a straightforward return process as described below. This policy applies to direct purchases from www.mountainlabs.io. For purchases from third-party retailers (Amazon, Etsy, etc.), please follow that retailer's return policy.

14-day statutory right of withdrawal (from date of delivery), PLUS our extended 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
UK consumers
14-day statutory right of withdrawal, PLUS our extended 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
US customers
30-day satisfaction guarantee from date of delivery.
Turkish consumers
14-day statutory withdrawal right (distance contracts — Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği), PLUS our 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
All customers
2-year warranty for manufacturing defects regardless of when they appear.


2. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Email returns@mountainlabs.io with your order number, reason for return, and photos of the product (if damaged or defective).
Step 2: Our support team will respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.
Step 3: Pack the product in its original packaging if possible, and include all accessories, documentation, and the RMA number.
Step 4: Ship the product to our returns address provided in the RMA email.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Mountain Labs covers all return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label.
Consumer right of withdrawal (EU/UK/TR)
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product is defective.
Change of mind (US / 30-day guarantee)
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Incorrect item delivered
Mountain Labs covers return shipping and ships the correct item at no additional cost.


4. Condition of Returned Products
Returned products must be:
In their original, undamaged condition (for change-of-mind returns).
Accompanied by all original accessories, cables, packaging, and documentation.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or apply a restocking fee if the product has been damaged due to misuse. This does not affect statutory consumer rights.

5. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned product:
We will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund within 2 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–14 business days.
We will refund the full product price and original standard shipping cost (for statutory withdrawal rights under EU/UK/TR law).
Express shipping upgrades paid by the customer are not refundable for change-of-mind returns.
If you have not received your refund after 14 business days, please contact support@mountainlabs.io.

6. Exchanges
If you received a defective or incorrect product and would prefer an exchange rather than a refund, please indicate this in your return request. We will ship a replacement product once we receive the returned item, or in advance for verified defects at our discretion.

7. Warranty Claims
Manufacturing defects discovered within the 2-year warranty period are handled under our Limited Warranty (see Terms and Conditions). Warranty claims are not subject to the 30-day return window. To make a warranty claim at any time during the warranty period, contact support@mountainlabs.io with proof of purchase and a description of the defect.

8. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:
Products that have been damaged due to misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification.
Products returned after the applicable return window without prior authorization.
Digital products or software licenses (if applicable).
Promotional or gift items (unless defective).
